This may be the second vintage of the Red Herring, but it is no sequel. If our first Red Herring was the Godfather, the 2016 vintage is definitely the Godfather Part II.
This wine was fermented wild using natural yeasts and aged in a 600L French Oak barrel.
Ripe plum, smoked meat and white pepper. Dark, brooding, structured and disciplined (like Michael Corleone).
Four clusters per vine, extremely low yields.
Only 100 cases produced. Enjoy now (decanted for a couple of hours) or over the next 5-7 years.
