If you like Champagne, you’ll love our estate-grown Traditional Method sparkling wine!Â
The Traditional Method is the process of inducing a second fermentation inside an already bottled wine by adding more yeast and sugar. It was first documented in England by Christopher Merret in 1662 as a form of improving French wine that had spoiled in its water-bound journey from France to England. In 1668, Dom Perignon, a Benedictine monk living in Champagne, France, popularized the art of Traditional Method wines, later known as “Méthode Champenoise.” The Hinterland estate produces grapes that are perfectly balanced in acidity with low sugars, ideal for Traditional Method wines.
Rose is a classic Traditional Method sparkling wine made with estate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris grapes. Enjoy now or age in your cellar for 5+ years!
On the nose of Rosé, you’ll find a field of cranberries and lilacs, while the palate is brimming with grapefruit juice and zest. Serve Rosé with sushi, charcuterie, or brunch foods for the perfect pairing!
