Our first Red Herring Syrah has aged beautifully in our cellar and now is the time to drink it. Generous dark fruit and white pepper, amazing texture and length. Very complex and delicious. We recommend pairing the Syrah with spring lamb.
100% Syrah from Wismer-Parke Vineyard. This wine was fermented wild using natural yeasts and aged in a 600L French Oak barrel. Plum, smoked meat and white pepper. Rich and grippy acid on the palette, this wine is a dead ringer for classic Northern Rhone. Two clusters per vine, extremely low yields. Only 100 cases originally produced. Enjoy now or over the next 4-5 years.A remarkable wine.
